Dyersburg, TN — April 24, 2025 — Misfit Militia Coffee, the community-driven coffee company known for its bold brews and even bolder conversations, has produced over 75 episodes of its live podcast, The Misfit Monday Debrief.
Since its launch on September 25, 2023, the show has transformed from a casual chat into a weekly live gathering for Bible study, cultural discussion, and real talk on faith—led by hosts Angeline Czerwien, better known as "Princess Magpul", Jonathan Symons, a.k.a. "Big Bad Jon", and Joshua Budnik, "The Mad Chazzler".
But behind that transformation lies The Garage Podcast Studio at The Mill Workspace, the creative engine that helped elevate the Debrief from a DIY livestream to a full-on digital ministry, with dozens of locals tuning in live each week for fellowship.
"When we began our podcast, it was very bare bones in structure," says Big Bad Jon. "One phone served as a camera, with no microphone or soundboard. We've had to grow in studio production techniques, including the use of soundboards, sound equipment, streaming/recording software, and crowd engagement during live broadcasts. The Mill Workspace helped us to elevate our setup, with a more convenient and professional space and better sound equipment."
The Garage Podcast Studio is a fully equipped production space designed for creators, thinkers, and community voices. The Garage offers a unique and modern space, with access to top-of-the-line equipment. For Misfit Militia, it became more than just a room—it became a catalyst.
"The blessing we had prior to coming to The Garage was having been exposed to running our podcast," Jon continues. "However, we've come to see that Chris and his team are able to help people who have never touched these things before. When you pair that with an entire arsenal of sound equipment, and a podcasting room that can suit any need, it's a no-brainer to see the benefit of using this space."
Jon emphasizes that the true value isn't just the tech—it's the people. "You're not just renting stuff at The Mill; you're paying for the time and expertise of people who actually care about your success. Take away the sound equipment, and you'd still have a place Misfit Militia Coffee recommends, because finding people who truly care about helping you is almost impossible in today's world."
With over 1,000 followers on Facebook and an audience that continues to grow, The Misfit Monday Debrief has become more than just a podcast—it’s a spiritual hub. Each Monday, listeners join the Misfit crew live for unfiltered, scripture-centered conversation that’s as real as the coffee in their mugs.
For Misfit Militia Coffee, that space just happens to be "The Garage".
