Dyersburg, TN – July 3, 2025 — Food truck owners from across the region are invited to gather at The Mill Workspace in downtown Dyersburg for Truck Talk, a networking and business development event designed specifically for mobile food entrepreneurs. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 217 S. Mill Ave.
Hosted by The Mill Workspace, the evening will bring together five featured speakers representing a range of experiences in the food truck industry. From startup lessons to operational strategies and marketing hangups, each speaker will share insights aimed at helping attendees navigate the unique challenges of running a food truck.
Chris Donaldson, CEO of The Mill, will serve as emcee of the event, guiding the conversation and fostering connection among participants.
In addition to the speaker panel, Truck Talk will include:
- Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments
- A free, recorded business spotlight for food truck owners.
- Onboarding assistance for Street Food Finder, a digital tool that helps trucks boost visibility and customer engagement
“Northwest Tennessee has no shortage of entrepreneurs in the food truck industry, and as the market continues to grow our goal is to support that growth by hosting events like these to help owners navigate the challenges of promoting their products, establishing a healthy customer base, and launching the tools needed to connect vendors with consumers across the region and beyond,” said Rachel Townsend, Community Manager at The Mill.

This event marks a unique opportunity for food truck owners to connect with peers, share experiences, and access tools and resources to help their businesses grow.
