Dyersburg, TN - July 11, 2025 - In 2024, Tim Lewis and his wife Ashley launched Gnarly’s Over the Top, a food truck with a mission: to bring bold, regional flavors to communities across West Tennessee. A native of Sharon, Tennessee, Tim may be a first-generation Tennessean, but his culinary roots run deep into his Philadelphia heritage. That influence shines through in his signature dish—the Cilantro Lime Philly Steak and Cheese—an original twist on a Northeast classic.
Every item on the menu reflects Tim’s commitment to quality and authenticity. From hand-cut meats to fresh bread sourced directly from a small Philadelphia bakery, Lewis ensures that everything served is made fresh and never frozen.
His passion for regional cuisine inspired him to take his vision on the road, and his journey as a food truck owner is only just beginning. Lewis has plans to expand his mobile operation with additional trucks, each offering its own unique regional menu.
Alongside his partner, Jonathan Shaw, Lewis is making appearances across the region, including upcoming stops at the Lexington Farmers Market and the Sharon Corn and Music Festival this August.
