Dyersburg, TN - October 17, 2025 - Based out of Union City, The Hangry Fixx food truck hit the road on July 4, 2025, and they’ve been serving up flavor-packed meals ever since. Owned and operated by Leticia and Gene Butler, their rolling kitchen is all about good food and good people.
Leticia is a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner, and Gene has spent the last 17 years as a River Boat Captain with Ingram. But when he’s not navigating the waters, Gene’s passion for cooking takes the lead. Growing up, he loved cooking for his siblings, and that same love for food has now turned into a family-run business, bringing a delicious menu to Northwest Tennessee and beyond.
What really sets The Hangry Fixx apart is the heart behind every dish. Gene and Leticia pour genuine care into each recipe, with a unique story behind every menu item. Gene is also working on his own line of sauces and seasonings, ensuring that signature Hangry Fixx flavor keeps spreading.
Family is at the center of it all. Gene’s mom, Treena Butler, co-captains the food truck alongside them, helping keep things running smoothly wherever they go.
If you ask the Butlers their favorites, Leticia swears by the Hangry BLT, Treena’s go-to is the Bacon Lovers, and Gene can’t resist the Screaming Cajun. But if you ask their customers, anything with brisket is a must-try.
The Hangry Fixx isn’t just about serving food—they’re about supporting others in the food truck community too. They even serve cheesecake from fellow food truckers, with no fee involved—just a shared love of good food and the strong support needed for anyone starting a new business.
Looking ahead, the Butlers are planning to add a breakfast menu to their lineup. You can catch them next at the Dyer County High School Holiday Mart, serving up their signature flavors with the same friendly faces and fiery passion.
So, if you see The Hangry Fixx rolling into your town, do yourself a favor—grab a plate. Because when they say the food is “Sho Nuff Good,” they mean it.
